The Newburgh City Council was expected to vote on Tuesday, May 28 on an agreement between the city and Hudson Valley Tree & Lawn Care LLC for consulting arborist services in the amount of $28,000.

The amount will be derived from the city’s budget line A.7129.0455 titled “consultants services” under the Conservation Advisory Council section.

City Corporation Counsel Michelle Kelson said to city council on May 23 that the city had put out a request for proposal for a new, qualified arborist company to come in and assist in the maintenance and planning of the existing City of Newburgh Urban Forest.
