The Healthy Orange Farmers Market will host a Breast Cancer Screening Day on Tuesday, October 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This screening event provides both the screening and education on how to prevent or get tested for Breast Cancer.

This event is a collaborative effort with a number of partners that include Cornerstone Family Health, the American Cancer Society, The Cathedral at the House, True Care, the Orange County Department of Health, Touro Medical College and True Care.

Upon arrival, there will be a Cornerstone vehicle that will allow for residents to get screened. The American Cancer Society will also be bringing a Giant Pink Inflatable Chair, raffles will also take place and an Education Table by Touro Medical Students will be made available along with other information stations from the American Cancer Society and Orange County DOH.

The screening event will have limited appointments and participants in the screening will receive vouchers for fresh fruits and vegetables. The farmers market takes place next to the Department of Motor Vehicles at 130 Broadway.
