Brenda Sue Williams, passed away at her home on August 21,2026, at the age of 76. She was born on April 29, 1950 in Newburgh, New York. She was born to James Garlon Griffin and Margaret Pauline Gresham. Brenda was a longtime member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Walden and most recently the Liberty Church of Middletown. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Brenda is survived by her son, Greg Williams and his wife Christine of Maybrook; daughter, Amy Bohlen and her husband Alan of Walker Valley; granddaugther, Mia Caruso of Brooklyn, NY; sister, Linda Griffin of Bakersfield North Carolina; several nieces and nephews.
She now joins her parents in heaven as well as her brothers; Dennis Griffin and James Griffin and her sisters, Carol Lennon, Margaret Wilson, and Ann Vogel along with her nephew Micah Lennon.
Memorial contributions may be made in Brenda’s name to Heifer International Charities.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday August 25, 2026 from 5-7 PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, Inc. 39 Orchard Street Walden, New York 12586.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday August 26, 2026 at 10 AM at the Liberty Church located at 510 M and M Road Middletown, NY 10940.
Burial will be private in the Wallkill Valley Cemetery.
