The New Windsor Town Board discussed safety concerns on Clarkview Road relating to stop signs. Along the road, there are stop signs at the intersections of Clarkview and Union Avenue, Clarkview and Mitchell Lane and Clarkview and Little Britain Road.

New Windsor Supervisor Stephen Bedetti spoke to the board about complaints of speeding vehicles and data collecting through a speed monitoring system. Bedetti has been in communication with the police department who have been looking into the matter. A recommendation was brought to the attention of the board to add a stop sign at the intersection of Clarkview and Knox Drive. Truck traffic has also been an issue for the town with the weight limit on the road.
