State Police are investigating a fatal one-vehicle rollover, Tuesday, on eastbound Interstate 84 at mile marker 38.4.

Good Will and Cronomer Valley Firefighters responded to scene in which a driver was trapped inside vehicle.

Town of Newburgh EMS, along with Empress EMS responded to the scene to assist a female passenger who was transported to Montifiore St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital for medical treatment.

The male driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene by the Orange County Medical Examiner.

Interstate 84 was down to one lane westbound during the incident, which remains under investigation.
