Goldback runners break 3 records at NYC meet

The Newburgh Free Academy boys’ indoor track and field team broke three records during the Hall of Fame Invitational at the NYC Armory Track and Field Center on Saturday.

David Pinnock, DeJuan McKenzie, Anthony Barrett and Brady Danyluk won the 1,600-meter relay.
Devin Batelic and Brady Danyluk each set meet records in the 1-mile run. Batelic finished in 4:24.67 and Danyluk was second in 4:24.77.

The 800-neter relay team ran the third fastest time in the state on December 9 at the Jim Michelle invitational at the NYC Armory.

The team consisted of Nakei Johnson, Pinnock, Barrett and Anthony Burnett.

Danyluk also placed second in the 1,000-meter run, the fourth-fastest time in the nation, and Burnett was second in the 600-meter run. He also was third in the 55-meter hurdles.
