Hometown Heroes Banners program moving forward

Posted

The Town of New Windsor on Wednesday, February 7 declared its intent for lead agency for the Hometown Heroes Banners project under the New York State Environmental Quality Review Act. The town will be looking to add these banners to telephone poles and would be circulating their intent for lead agency to all other interested or involved agencies.

The Hometown Heroes Banner Program is a program where various banners are designed and dedicated to members of the community, living or deceased, who served in the military or were first responders and their families. As reported, the size of the banners would be two feet by four feet and will be displayed on various poles for residents and visitors to enjoy as they pass by.
