Winona Lake firefighters responded to a reported structure fire at 31 Innis Ave. on Sunday, February 25. Orange Lake, City of Newburgh and Goodwill units also responded to the scene, while Middle Hope and Cronomer Valley units stood by. The fire was contained to the second floor. The house was unoccupied at the time of the fire, but the Red Cross was called to provide assistance for four adults and four children. The fire is under investigation.
