Joseph B. Pisani, of the Town of Newburgh, entered into rest on Wednesday, February 2, 2022. He was 72.

Son of the late Joseph P. and Julia (Fekishazy) Pisani, he was born on December 30, 1949 in Newburgh.

A lifelong Newburgh resident, he was a retired deliveryman for Weaver Gas, Newburgh. After retiring he also worked for Riverside Mechanical. Joe was a life member of the Cronomer Valley Fire Department and also the Volunteer Fire Police Association of the State of New York. A hard worker, he gave freely of his time, and would help anyone. He took pride in his home and was known to be an experienced grill master.

Survivors include his wife, Jacqueline L. Pisani; a daughter, Heather (Matthew) Weintraub, of Purdys, NY; a twin brother, Thomas Pisani of Bradenton, FL; a sister, Juliana Rhinefield of the Town of Newburgh; a granddaughter, Julia Weintraub; a favorite niece, Roberta Betanzos of Newburgh; his in-laws John and Georgia Baird of the Town of Newburgh; mother of his daughter, Beverly Muro and grandmother of his daughter Irene West. He will also be sadly missed by his cousins, close family friends and his CVFD family.

Visitation will take place 1  to 4  pm on Sunday, February 6, at White, Venuto and Morrill Funeral Service, 188 N. Plank Road, Newburgh.

A Funeral Service will follow at the Funeral Home at 4  pm, with the Rev. Jeffery Hooker officiating.
