The bridge and roadway of Lake Street (NY 32) through the City of Newburgh has been reopened. Crews have completed the rehabilitation of the bridge that carries Lake Street (NY 32) over the Quassaick Creek. The previous temporary bridge has been disassembled and the roadway stabilized and repaved.

Please be advised that construction crews will be performing ongoing work in this area to reconstruct sidewalks and install new water main along the new bridge crossing. Please be aware of construction workers in this area and obey all traffic signs in the area.
