Linda M. Paolini Gauthier of Kelowna, British Columbia died on December 20, 2018 loosing her battle from Cancer at the Central Okanagan Hospice Center surrounded by her family. She was 73.
Daughter of Joseph J. and Josephine R. Paolini, she was born on February 18, 1945 in Newburgh,. She graduated from Newburgh Free Academy in 1962.

She worked for a local Attorney, Overheiser, as secretary followed by a civil service position at Stewart Air Force Base where she met and married Gerald Gauthier, a Canadian Air Force officer.

After completion of her husband’s military assignment in the United States, she moved to Canada and raised her family. Service tours led her all over Canada which was her dream to travel. She accepted employment with the Canadian Government which led to her Canadian Citizenship.

Survivors include her husband Gerry Gauthier at home, her son Kenneth Gauthier, his partner Sandra Kelly, her Granddaughter Lily, Grandson Nolan, a sister, Joanne Paolini Diaz and her husband Silverio Diaz of New Windsor; brother Anthony Paolini and his wife Doreen Paolini of the Town of Newburgh; nieces Lisa Diaz Latchman, Janine Diaz, Monica Paolini, nephews Joseph Paolini and Anthony Paolini Jr. Great nephews Brandon Latchman, Dylan Latchman and Luca Paolini Raab.

She was predeceased her beloved son James Gauthier, and her parents Joseph J Josephine R Paolini.
