The New Windsor Town Board discussed the possible addition of an automatic slide gate at Kristi Babcock Park to address after hour off road vehicle reports and concerns.

Town Supervisor George Meyers stated to the board members that no serious damages or incidents have been done but the recommendation from Meyers was to hold off on a purchase of this gate. The gate cost is proposed at $29,000 and Town Parkland Funds currently sit at $500,000 according to Meyers. The recommendation would be to wait and raise more funds before a purchase.
