The Newburgh Free Library will host on Wednesday, June 28 starting at 6 p.m. in the Board of Education Auditorium a community conversation about the seriousness of gun violence. The conversation will be moderated by Mariah Henry, Vice President of M.A.R.C.S. Friends Incorporated Support Groups and Community Outreach.
The community conversation is open to the public and will allow families, community members, community organizations, and community leaders to listen and express their grief, address frustrations and speak on any other feelings relating to the topic. SNUG Outreach and the NAACP Newburgh/Highland Falls were announced to be in attendance for the event.
