The 16U Newburgh Red Storm beat the Pleasantville Panthers, 12-5 on Saturday, as they split two of their games last week.

Ryan Andryuk, Derek Vlietstra and Mike Edge shared the game on the mound and Tyler Valentin wore the catcher’s gear in the 90-degree heat. Between them, they drove in five runs and scored five.

They also suffered a loss earlier in the week to the Somers Red Storm.

The 14U Red Storm suffered a loss to the Cobras, while the High School team dropped a 14-13 slugfest to the Connecticut Rangers.
The 11U Newburgh Knights were beaten by the O.C. Smash and in the 12U division, the Marlboro Marlins beat the Newburgh Knights and the Hudson Valley Hawks beat the New Windsor Cyclones.
