NFA sets two school records at North Shore Invitational

The Newburgh Free Academy boys’ indoor track team had four victories and set two new school records at the North Shore Invitational on December 23 at the Nike Track and Field Center at the Armory in New York City.

Brady Danyluk and Devin Batelic each set new school records. Danyluk won the 1,000-meter run with a time of 2:32.41, and Batelic set a new school record in the 1,600-meter run in 4:21.

The 3,200-meter relay team of Kendy Georges, Batelic, David Pinnock and Danyluk finished first with the top time in the state.

The 800-meter relay team of Pinnock, Anthony Burnett, Jun Rivas and Nakei Johnson finished first with a time of 1:31.53.
