The Greater Newburgh Symphony Orchestra (GNSO) closes its 2023- 24 season on Saturday, July 27 at 4 p.m. at Aquinas Hall on the Mount Saint Mary College campus in Newburgh. The show promises to captivate audiences of all ages, showcasing astonishing circus performers accompanied by the GNSO.

Maestro Russell Ger noted that “Circus performers have long used classical music to illuminate their acts and routines, choreographing their physical artistry to the master composers. The GNSO will collaborate with an extraordinary troupe whose remarkable skills are sure to dazzle and amaze. The show will be directed by Karen Gersch, one of the original founders of NYC’s Big Apple Circus, and a veteran performer in her own right.”

The GNSO will also have the “mini-maestros” where kids can conduct the orchestra! As a bonus, children twelve and under will receive a gift certificate for a free ice cream cone from Stewarts!

Ticket prices are - Balcony $75, Center Reserved $60. General $50, Senior Citizen (62+) $30. They can be purchased at the door, by visiting www.newburghsymphony.org or calling 845-913-7157.  Students (18+ under) are admitted free to General seating.
