Rosemarie Anduze-Arcuri, of the Town of Newburgh, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loved ones on Thursday, October 7, 2021 after a courageous battle with stage 4 lung cancer. She was 61

Rosemarie was born on May 4, 1960 to Carmen (Rivera) and the late Robert Anduze in New York, NY.

“Rose” as she was known to family and friends, obtained a master’s degree at LIU studying early childhood and elementary education. She was a stay at home mom for her three children until 2005. She then became a licensed Real Estate Agent in Newburgh and loved finding her clients their forever homes. She adored her family more than anything in this world and always put others before herself. She was extremely selfless, kind, caring, and loving. She was such a hands-on DIY person. She self-taught herself how to do projects including but not limited to: tiling bathrooms, putting up backsplashes in her kitchen, spackling, and painting houses. No home improvement was too small of a task for Rose. She enjoyed reading novels while being in the sunshine and the beach was her happy place. Rose loved to visit Resorts World casino in Monticello with her husband and had the luck of winning $11,000.00 off one slot machine. Rose also loved her yearly family trips for the last two decades to Hilton Head Island, SC. Rock and roll truly fueled her soul.

Survivors include her mother, Carmen Anduze, of the Town of Newburgh; her husband, David A. Arcuri, of the Town of Newburgh; a son, David B. Arcuri of the Town of Newburgh; two daughters, Ashley Arcuri of the Town of Newburgh, and Nikki Arcuri and her fiancé Vincent Vigliotta of Elmsford, NY; three brothers, David (Kathleen) Anduze of Poughkeepsie, Robert (Kathy) Anduze of Yorktown Heights, NY and Steve (Danielle) Anduze of Mt.
