Senator James Skoufis (D-Woodbury) will partner with the Red Cross to host a community blood drive in the City of Newburgh on Friday, July 9. The drive will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Newburgh Armory Unity Center, 321 South William Street, Newburgh, NY 12550.
Those interested in donating may schedule an appointment by visiting rcblood.org/3Aivwjg. Every donor receives a digital $10 Amazon gift card and is entered to win gas for a year.
New York is currently experiencing a severe blood shortage. This drive is one of three hosted by Skoufis this summer, in partnership with the Red Cross and New York Blood Center.
