The SUNY Orange Colts opened the 2024 season with a doubleheader sweep of the Monroe Express, winning 20-2 and 14-1.

In the first game, Gianna Catletti struck out 11 in five innings. She also drove in four runs with a single, double and home run. Lindsey Keane went 3 for 5 from the plate, while Arissa Clune 2 for 4 with four runs batted in.

In the second game, Molly Martian pitched a two-hitter, striking out six. She also went two for two from the plate. Arissa Clune went 2 for 4, while Dawn Grover hit a grand slam.

The Colts are spending spring break in Southern Maryland for an 8-game road trip. Their home opener is March 23 against Sussex.
