Theresa Bulson Buccieri, age 92, died January 20, 2021 in Raleigh, NC.
Theresa was born and raised in Newburgh and lived 87 wonderful years in her hometown. She was loved by all for her wit and will be deeply missed.
Daughter of the late Henry and Anna (Stenglein) Bulson, she was born on July 3, 1928. She married the love of her life, her late loving husband Anthony Buccieri in July 1946 at St. Patrick’s Church in Newburgh. They shared 72 remarkable years together and raised four children. As a devote Catholic she adored The Blessed Mother and was a parishioner of St. Patrick’s for over 65 years.
Theresa is survived by her son Thomas Buccieri (Sandy) of South Carolina, daughters Nancy Ruckdeschel of Newburgh, NY and Donna Burlingame of Apex, NC. She is also survived by her sister Marion Cariffe of California; grandchildren Michael, Alyse, and Don Christian Ruckdeschel of Newburgh, NY, Anthony and Vincent Burlingame of Apex, NC; great-grandson Matteo Ruckdeschel.; and several nieces and nephews.
She is also preceded by her loving daughter Marianne Buccieri, her sister Loretta Scheible and brothers Henry, John, and Joseph Bulson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Church at 12 pm on Friday, January 29. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in New Windsor, NY.
