Town of Newburgh Recreation & AARP presents an AARP Defensive Driving Course on Tuesday, April 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Fees for AARP members $25; Non-members $30. Make checks made payable to AARP.
Please arrive at the Rec. Center by 8:45 a.m. This is a DMV mandated class and there will be no admittance after 9 a.m. Must bring AARP card for your discount, Drivers’ License, Lunch (there will be a ½ hour break for lunch), All other materials will be provided. As part of the Adult Faith Formation and Activities of Saint Mother Teresa of Calcutta Parish and St. Patrick’s, St Mary’s and Our Lady of the Lake Parish, a Bereavement Support Group continues every Wednesday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and will continue every week for a total of eight sessions in the chapel* at Sacred Heart Church, 25 Robinson Avenue, Newburgh.
Individuals who are grieving the loss of a loved one are invited to attend.
