Attention all boating enthusiasts! Are you looking to brush up on your boating skills or get your boating safety certificate? Look no further than the free Safe Boater Course offered by the Clintondale Fire Department on April 4 and 5, from 6 - 10 p.m.

This eight-hour course will provide an introduction to the basic principles of safe and responsible boating, including rules of the nautical road, required safety equipment, special boating related activities, and more. Students who successfully complete the course will earn a safe boating certificate.

To register, visit www.register-ed.com/programs/new_york/252-new-york-safe-boating-course or search NYS Boater Safety Course. Please note that participants must be at least 10 years old to participate.

The Safe Boater Course is designed to help ensure New York’s waterways remain safe and enjoyable for all who share them. With the new law requiring all motor boat operators, regardless of age, to obtain a boating safety certificate beginning in 2025, this course is more important than ever.

Don’t miss this opportunity to improve your boating skills and ensure the safety of yourself and others on the water. Register today at register-ed.com/programs/new_york/252-new-york-safe-boating-course.
