Josephine Lewis Mankes of Marlboro, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh. She was 58.
Josephine was born in Poughkeepsie, NY on September 5, 1961. She was the daughter of the late William J. Boland, Sr. and the late Mary E. Boughton.
Josephine is survived by her husband Gary Mankes of Marlboro, her 3 sons; Gary Mankes, Jr., Cory Mankes and Christopher Mankes all of Marlboro and her grandson Bryson Mankes. Josephine is also survived by her brothers; Edward & Linda Farley of Poughkeepsie, Joseph & Ellen Farley of Georgia, James Farley of Hyde Park, William J. Boland, Jr. of Hyde Park, Mark & Ivana Boland of Hyde Park, her sisters; Lorraine Farley of Poughkeepsie and Rosemarie & Martin Watson of Poughkeepsie, her father and mother in law Sheldon & Barbara Mankes of Virginia and her sister in law Shirley Mankes of Virginia.
Josephine was predeceased by a son Nicholas Mankes.
Cremation will be private.
