Joe Freeborn, who served in Vietnam in 1971-72, said he now feels that people understand what a trying time Veterans had coming home from the war. He said today people thank his fellow Veterans for their service for which he is very grateful.

Ed Timberger, who is the new American Legion Commander in Marlborough, urged people to thank a Veteran when they see them in public. “They appreciate that and it is important to honor and support them for what they have done for our country. They are all heroes.”

Zach Dina spoke about his support for the Wounded Warrior Project. He is holding a fundraiser for the project by selling Krispy Kreme donuts at Hannaford’s in Highland on Saturday, November 18 at 10am.
