The Southern Ulster Performing Arts Company (SUPAC) was thrilled to present three talented Hudson Valley performing arts students with scholarships to be used towards their studies. In June, SUPAC held its first round of talent-based scholarship auditions where students were invited to present their craft to an esteemed group of local judges. The three award winners were Molly Broderick (Dance), who studies at Madeline’s Dance Center in Marlboro, Veda Parthasarathy (piano), who studies at The Peterson Studio in Highland, and Isabella Pellegrino (vocal), who studies under the tutelage of Nicholas Denizard in Wappingers Falls. Each was awarded $425 to be used to continue their private studies.

Scholarships are open to all students, up to age 22 in Ulster and surrounding counties who study any performing art. SUPAC is hosting its next round of auditions on September 9 at The Southern Ulster Center for the Arts at 1041 US-9W, Marlboro, NY 12542.
