Walkway presents twilight concert series

New York State Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation is pleased to announce its outdoor summer concert series, Twilight Music in the Parks, at Walkway Over the Hudson, on Thursday nights from 6-7 p.m. The concert will be held on the Highland (Ulster) side at the Ulster Visitor Center. The music program runs each Thursday night now through September 1.

Members of the Hudson Valley Folk Guild will perform a musical program from a different artist each week at the Walkway. We hope that you will stop by and listen to the sounds of folk music from local singer-songwriters, multi-instrumentalists, soloists, and groups at the Walkway this summer.

Featuring musicians from the Hudson Valley, Twilight Music in the Parks outdoor concerts are free and open to the public. People are invited to come hear the music, enjoy the great outdoors, and experience all NY State Parks have to offer. Concerts are weather permitting. In case of inclement weather please check for updates on the Walkway’s Facebook page or visit http://www.parks.ny.gov/

New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation oversees more than 250 individual parks, historic sites, recreational trails, and boat launches, which were visited by a record 78.4 million people in 2021. A recent university study found that spending by State Parks and its visitors supports $5 billion in output and sales, 54,000 private-sector jobs and more than $2.8 billion in additional state GDP.
