Table tennis tourney benefits first responders
Registration is now open for the 2024 Shawangunk Valley Fire Company Ping Pong Tournament! svfire.org/pingpong.

This year, this FUNdraising event will take place on Saturday, March 23 at the Shawangunk Valley Fire House at 2150 Bruynswick Road, Wallkill.   We will be holding the kids tournament at 10 a.m., and starting the adults tournament starting at 12:00 p.m. Food and beverages will be available. There will be prizes for both the kids tournament and the adults tournament!  $300 top prize for the winner! All proceeds will go towards supporting emergency response and preparedness in Shawangunk and Gardiner.

Sponsors include: City Winery, Stone Wave Yoga, Reformed Church of Shawangunk, Oyster and Clam Bar at the Bruynswick Inn, Amthor Welding, Pop-Eez Brunch and Brisket, Bruynswick Winery, and Hudson Valley Concrete Pumping.

Wallkill Woman’s Club hosts events

The Wallkill Woman’s Club would like to invite you to the March meeting which will be held on Tuesday, March 26 at 7 p.m. at the Shawangunk Town Hall.

The speaker will be Julie Moussot who will be speaking about the Wallkill Public Library. Please come join us for this informative presentation. Visitors and new members are always welcome.

Save the Dates: The Woman’s Club will be participating in the VOW Town Wide Yard Sale on Saturday, April 27. We will be set up at the Lions Pavilion so please plan to stop by. We will have many interesting and useful items for sale.

On May 5, from Noon until 4 p.m., we will have our 2nd annual Fund-raiser at the Newburgh Brewery. More information will be forthcoming.

On May 11 The Visions of Wallkill will have it’s annual Duck Derby, the Woman’s Club will be there selling Mother’s Day plants and hot dogs.
