Brian J. Ward, of the Town of Newburgh, entered into rest on Friday, June 7, 2024. He was 63.

Son of Phyllis (Baker) Ward and the late Joseph D. Ward, he was born June 22, 1960 in Cornwall, NY at Cornwall Hospital.

A lifelong area resident, Brian was a retired Manager for A-1 Septic, Walden, NY. A skilled guitar player, he loved his muscle cars, grilling, and the outdoors, especially fishing. Brian enjoyed his scratch off tickets, collecting coins, and playing with his dogs. A lifelong Giants fan, he was an overall family man, loving husband, father, and friend to many.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Karen T. (Flannery) Ward; his mother, J. Phyllis Ward; a son Colin Ward and his Fiancé Lauren Kelemen of the Town of Newburgh; a brother Chris (Debra) Ward of Milton; and many loved and cherished nieces and nephews.

Visitation for friends and family will be Wednesday, June 12, 2024 from 4  to 7 pm at White, Venuto and Morrill Funeral and Cremation Service, 188 N. Plank Road, Newburgh. A Funeral Service will follow 7 pm at the Funeral Home. Private cremation will take place at Cedar Hill Crematory. Final resting place will be in the family plot at St. Joachim’s Cemetery, Beacon, NY.
