Carlos “Los” Alfonso Yambay, a Salesman for Sunshine Ford and an avid Yankee Fan, entered into rest on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at home. He was 43.
Los was born on April 2, 1976 in the Julia M. Betterfield Hospital in Cold Spring, NY to Julie (Encarnacion) Jamison and Louis F. Yambay, who both survive. Carlos was a graduate of Wallkill Senior High School.
Los is survived by his mom, Julie (Encarnacion) Jamison and her husband, Robert L. Jamison; his Dad, Louis F. Yambay and his wife, Marilyn (Perez) Yambay; two brothers, Christopher Yambay of Danbury, CT and David Yambay of Plattekill, Potsdam, NY; his sister, Alyssa Jamison of Plattekill; grandparents, Alfonso Yambay, Cornwall, and Luz Delia Ramos Yambay, Plattekill; his Aunt, Virginia Yambay, of Plattekill; an uncle, Mario A. Yambay, of Brownsville, TX and Anthony Yambay of Palm Coast, FL and a niece, Gemma Yambay of Danbury, CT.
Carlos was predeceased by his grandparents, Carlos and Julia Encarnacion and his Great-Grandparents, Luis & Celestina Yambay and Alfonso & Maria Ramos.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday, October 21, at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 1250 NY-32, Plattekill. Burial will follow in Saint Charles Borromeo Cemetery, Gardiner. A repass will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Church Hall.
