The NYS Public Service Commission will be holding a series of in-person public statement hearings to seek input and comments regarding the climate vulnerability study plans submitted by utility companies, including Central Hudson. In February, Govenor Hochul signed into law requiring utility companies to evaluate each corporation’s infrastructure, design specifications, and producers to better understand the electric system’s vulnerability to climate-driven risks.

A hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, July 31, 11 a.m. Poughkeepsie Town Hall, 1 Overocker Road.
