Police Officer Michael McConnell has retired after 43 years of service to the Town of Crawford and its police department.

Officer McConnell began his career in 1976, serving until 1984 before returning in 1989. Over his 43-year tenure, McConnell has become the epitome of a community police officer, spending his final years as the school resource officer at Pine Bush Elementary School.

McConnell has been a cornerstone of the department for much of its existence. His calm demeanor and dedication have positively influenced generations of police officers.

The department and community extend their heartfelt thanks to Officer McConnell for his service and wish him a happy and healthy retirement.
