Tommy Benfer homered, singled and drove in a run as the fourth-seeded Marlboro baseball team saw its season end on May 22 to No. 5 Rondout Valley in the Section 9 Class B quarterfinals at Marlboro High school.

Justin Piscopo doubled and drove in two runs for the Iron Dukes, who finished the season with a 10-7 record.

Allen Davenport went the distance for the Ganders, throwing a complete game three-hitter with eight strikeouts. He also homered, singled and drove in two runs.

Terrence Stange homered and singled, Gabe Schoonmaker had two singles and Nate Nilsen singled three times for the Ganders.
