The Wallkill girls’ tennis team’s Senior Day was spoiled on October 2 by a 4-1 loss to the FDR Presidents at Wallkill High School.

Arianna Jorge Martinez got the win at first singles with a 6-2, 6-3 win over Ashley Santos Perez, while Anna O’Brien suffered a 6-2, 2-6, 3-6 loss to Destiny Velasquez and Katelynn Krupp lost to Brook-lynn Parker, 0-6, 3-6.

The first doubles team of Amy O’Mally and Denisse Martinez suffered a 1-6, 2-6 loss to Bianca Buel and McKenna Rock, while Zacharia Williams and Miranda Padilla lost 6-2, 2-6, 3-10 at second doubles.
