Save-A-Life Saturdays will take place on Saturday, June 10, from 3 to 4 p.m., at the Wallkill Volunteer Ambulance Corps located at 231 First Street, Wallkill. The event aims to equip community members with the knowledge and tools necessary to save lives and make a difference in the face of opioid emergencies.

During the training session, attendees will learn from experienced professionals who specialize in opioid awareness and prevention. The experts from O.R.A.C.LE. will provide comprehensive instruction on recognizing the signs of an opioid overdose, administering Narcan effectively and following proper emergency response protocols.

In addition to the invaluable training, participants will receive a FREE Narcan Kit, which includes the medication and necessary administration equipment. These kits are essential in enabling individuals to respond swiftly and effectively during opioid overdose emergencies.

Attendance at the Narcan training event is free and open to the public. No prior experience or registration is required. Participants are encouraged to arrive promptly to ensure they receive the complete training and their Narcan kits.
