In recognition of School Board Appreciation Week, the Town of Highlands Teachers’ Association would like to publicly express our gratitude to the members of the Highland Falls-Fort Montgomery School Board for their tireless dedication to our students, staff, and community.

The work of our school board members often goes unnoticed, but their influence and commitment are invaluable. From making critical decisions about budgets, policies, and curriculum, to advocating for the needs of our district at the state and national level, the members of our school board demonstrate an unwavering dedication to the future of our schools. They ensure that our schools are well-resourced, that our students receive a high-quality education, and that our teachers and staff have the support they need to succeed.

The time and effort they devote -- often on a volunteer basis -- shows their passion for ensuring every student has the opportunity to thrive. We also appreciate the open lines of communication and the collaborative efforts that allow us to work together for the best possible outcomes.
