Sophie Valentino scored three goals and Sadie Hollifield added one to lead the Highland girls’ soccer team to a 4-0 win over the Chapel Field Lions on Thursday at Highland High School.

The Huskies had lost two straight games heading into Thursday’s game with the Lions, having lost the previous week to the Rhinebeck Hawks and Saugerties Sawyers.

After losing three straight games to start the season, the Huskies posted a 2-0 win over the Ellenville Blue Devils.

The Huskies were scheduled to host Webutuck on Monday and then are scheduled to go on the road to face Onteora and Rhinebeck on Wednesday and Thursday.
