The second-seeded Highland baseball team saw its season end with a 3-1 loss to the No. 3 Spackenkill Spartans on Wednesday at Highland High School in 10 innings.
Dylan Boenig singled home two runs in the top of the 10th inning.
Ian Warren doubled home a run for the Huskies in the first inning, before Spackenkill tied the game in the sixth on a base hit by Bryan Hoyt.
The Huskies opened the tournament with a 4-3 win over No. 7 Our Lady of Lourdes. Matt Dubois drove in two runs, including the game winner. He drove in his brother, Leland Dubois, with a sacrifice fly.
James Gescheidle had a hit, four stolen bases and two runs scored. Hunter Tomlin pitched eight innings for the win.
