The Highland baseball team had both the pitching and the bats going on Thursday afternoon.
Matt Dubois threw five innings of scoreless baseball and had two hits and two runs scored in a 11-2 win over the Rhinebeck Hawks at Highland High School.
Leland Dubois had a hit with two RBIs and two runs scored, and Jeremy Angelone went 2-for-3 with two RBIs for the Huskies (4-2, 3-0 MHAL-III).
Giles Griffin led the Hawks (1-1, 1-1 MHAL-III) with two hits, including a double and a run scored.
The Huskies opened the week with a non-league, 2-1, eight-inning victory over the Chapel Field Lions.
Matt Dubois had an RBI double for the Huskies and Mike Bonagura scored the lone run for the Lions.
