I am “Randi” and I ask for your support as a Mayoral Candidate on March 19 in the Village of Montgomery Election.

I think the most important quality to focus on when considering candidates is leadership. Whether you envision the Village of Montgomery remaining exactly the same or undergoing some transformation, a leader is essential.

But, what IS a leader?
A leader has vision and communicates it, offering direction and ensuring comprehension of goals. In my experience as a Trustee, I identified the need for a well-defined chain of command, standard operating procedures, succession planning, and comprehensive long-term maintenance and improvement strategies.
Communication is key. In supporting the digitization of public documents, providing transparent and easily accessible contact information, and immersing myself in every department, I aim to communicate effectively with both staff and residents.
Trust forms the bedrock of leadership, integrity is pivotal. Leaders who embody honesty, transparency, and ethics cultivate trust and credibility. This has always been my guiding principle and will continue to be.
Leadership demands accountability.

As a hands-on mayor engaged with all departments, we can assure our taxpayers they are receiving the highest quality work and services.
A leader is resilient through setbacks and unforeseen challenges. Learning from adversity and adapting are crucial to preserving YOUR villages’ safety and historical value while planning for its future. I have learned from adversity in my life and it has strengthened me.

Having navigated the roles of single mom, business owner and growing a business organization to 130 members amid a pandemic, I’ve overcome challenges while helping to advance significant improvements in YOUR Village and I will continue to do so. I hope that you will join me in a plan for preservation and progress in YOUR village on March 19, 2024.
