Infant Saviour Church to honor First Responders at Blue Mass

Posted

The Church of the Infant Saviour, located on Rt. 302 in Pine Bush, is set to host a special Blue Mass on Sunday, May 21 at 3 p.m. All Police, Fire, Corrections, EMS, and Military personnel are cordially invited to attend. This Mass is dedicated to honoring the selfless service and sacrifice of these brave individuals in our community and country.

The special celebrant of this Mass will be Fr. Tom Colucci, Pastor of Most Precious Blood Church in Walden, and a retired Captain from the FDNY. He brings a wealth of experience and understanding to this occasion, having served on the front lines of emergency response for many years.

This event is open to all faiths, and anyone who wishes to pay tribute to the sacrifices made by these men and women is welcome to attend. The Mass is an opportunity to come together as a community and show our gratitude to those who have dedicated their lives to serving and protecting us.

Following the Mass, there will be a luncheon served at the Catholic War Veterans on Center St. in Pine Bush. This is a chance for attendees to socialize and connect with others who share their appreciation for our brave first responders and military personnel.

The Blue Mass is proudly sponsored by Eugene Kelly CWV Post 1937 and the Msgr. James Conlan K of C Council 5329. For more information or to RSVP, please contact Ray Perry at rayp656@gmail.com, 845-820-6159 or Jim Gill at 845-361-2339.
