Many readers of this paper and Facebook have read the accusations, that Councilman Mazzetti constantly makes about Republican board members. He often states the Republicans do not follow rules. Perhaps Joe should examine his own behavior and his decision to ignore town building department codes.

Recently Joe Mazzetti completed a major renovation of a rental home he owns on Marie Drive in Highland. Several elements of the project required building department review and issuance of permits. Joe chose to complete the project without complying with the town’s building department code requirements. Perhaps Joe thinks the town laws do not apply to him or he thought due to the remote location of his property he would not get caught.

Whatever the reason, Joe Mazzetti intentionally violated town building codes. Joe is quick to point out faults in others but he continually choses to think he is above the law. It is time to end this type of behavior by a public official. Please keep this and other recent editorials about Joe Mazzetti’s deceptive behavior in mind when you go to vote in the upcoming election. The town of Lloyd does not need 4 more years of this absent, accusatory, do-nothing performance by Councilman Mazzetti. For the good of the town, look at Joes record and read between the lines of Joe’s false accusations and finger pointing.
