I am sending this letter to support the candidacy of Maribeth King for Marlborough Town Board in the upcoming November election.

Maribeth King is a friendly, dedicated, competent and compassionate individual. Since her arrival to the area with her family, she has become involved in local events and attends town board meetings on a regular basis.

She is eager to contribute to the well-being of the community. She seeks to improve the quality of life for all residents of Marlborough. She favors increased services and amenities for all age groups present here. Mindful of Marlborough’s potential for growth, Maribeth is committed to controlling development without risk to the environment and beauty of the area. She and her husband Dan recently donated land close to the current dog park in Milton to the Town of Marlborough.

Recently, Maribeth received the endorsement of the Upper Hudson Central Labor Council, a coalition of Labor unions from Ulster County. As the Past President of the Hudson Valley Area Labor Federation, the organization which oversees its central labor councils like the UHCLC, I can unequivocally state that Maribeth King is a strong advocate for working families in the Hudson Valley, especially those in Marlborough, should she be elected to the Marlborough Town Board. She is an outstanding choice! Vote for Maribeth!!
