The Marlboro Elementary School PTA is hosting two school supply fundraisers this summer. Parents can visit bit.ly/4d2cMad to purchase prepackaged school supply kits specific to each child’s grade. Each box ordered will help provide one meal through the nonprofit organization Feed My Starving Children. Exclusive sale labels can also be purchased through a Mabel Label Fundraiser. To browse the available products, visit mabelslabels.com/fundraising/support.

The Newburgh Area Retired Teachers’ Association (NARTA) is an organization of retired educators from the Cornwall, Highland Falls-Fort Montgomery, Marlboro, and Newburgh school districts. Other retired educators living in the area are also invited to join. NARTA’s primary goal is to raise money for scholarships given to high school seniors from these districts who plan to enter the field of education.

Congratulations to Jonathan Antonelli, son of John and Hope Antonelli, and a 2024 graduate of Marlboro High School, for receiving a $2,000 scholarship awarded by NARTA. Ranked in the top 20% of his graduating class, Jonathan credits his teachers for their support and encouragement, particularly his mathematics teachers for inspiring his love of math. He will major in mathematics education at SUNY New Paltz in the fall.
