The Marlboro 12U Cal Ripken baseball team beat Highland, 9-0, in a District 3 tournament game on Friday night at the Highland Babe Ruth Park.

Highland and Marlboro were scheduled to play again on Saturday morning and Marlboro went on to face New Paltz again in the afternoon for the District championship.

In Greater Hudson Baseball League action, the Marlboro Marlins 10U team picked up a win while the 12U team split games, beating the Beacon Bulldogs, but losing to the New Paltz Hawks.

The 13U Marlboro Wildcats picked up a win over the Putnam Valley Tigers, while the 15U Expos dropped a pair of games to the Newburgh Red Storm.
