The Marlboro girls’ tennis team continued their reign at the top of the Mid Hudson Athletic League individual standings as senior Sydney Sladicka won the MHAL singles championship on Wednesday morning at Franklin D. Roosevelt High School in Hyde Park.

The Highland Huskies placed three of the final four doubles’ teams with Jessica Rendon and Grace Koehler winning the championship.

Sladicka defeated Spackenkill’s Elena Sung, 6-3, 6-3, to win the championship. She won her semifinal match, 6-1, 6-1, over Our Lady of Lourdes’ Elia Bonavoglia.
