It was an uneventful annual reorganization meeting for Maybrook with no surprises at the yearly appointments made.

Mayor Dennis Leahy appointed newly-re-elected trustee Charles Woznick as deputy mayor. He also appointed the following board members to various committees: Daryl Capozzoli, water and sewer; Charles Woznick, planning board, zoning board of appeals and economic development; William Treco, community center (library), William Treco and William Giannico, Town of Montgomery Ambulance Corps liaisons; Mayor Dennis Leahy, recreation (adult and youth) and William Giannico, building dept. liaison.

The board voted unanimously to confirm the following appointments: David Griffith, clerk-treasurer; Sean Hoffman, village engineer; Naughton and Torre, village attorney; Timothy Ippolito, building inspector; and Darlene Sparks, village historian.

The Wallkill Valley Times and the Times Herald Record were confirmed as official village newspapers.

Guy Cusamano was appointed to a one-year germ on the Board of Ethics; Michael D’Angelo, five-year term planning board chairman; and Melissa Walsh, five-year term zoning board of appeals.
