Mid-Hudson Discovery Museum presents Discover Summer

Posted

Attention all science and book lovers! The Mid-Hudson Discovery Museum is excited to bring together the best of both worlds for a day of fun, learning, and exploration. Meet New York Times bestselling authors and award-winning children’s book illustrators from the Chappaqua Book Festival. Say hello to Clifford and Peter the Cat during our book character meet and greet! Bring your favorite book or purchase it at the event and get it signed by the author as you jump into summer reading.

Have a cuddly encounter with our animal friends provided by the Two-by-Two Animal Haven. Plus, there will be kid friendly vendors, food trucks (including Groovy Scoops!), face painting, science experiments, free crafts and lots more!

Event takes place in the Museum Pavilion and is FREE.

Make a day of it and visit the museum too! (Regular museum admission applies.)

Kindly note that parking space at the museum is limited; however, you can find additional parking at Waryas Park and at the Train Station, both located next to the museum.

Discover Summer is sponsored by: British Swim School, Mid-Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union, Adams Fairacre Farms, Rhinebeck Bank.
