The New Windsor Town Board approved the bid by Frank Stevens & Sons Roofing, Inc. to perform repair work on the New Windsor Town Hall and Ambulance Corps facility roofs. The awarded bid was in the amount of $747,092.

Supervisor George Meyers raised the need for roof replacement several months ago due to reports that one of the roofs had fallen in. “We’ve been patching them up for years and we finally kind of bite the bullet and replace the roofs on both buildings,” said Meyers. According to Meyers, the anticipated completion time for both of the roofs at both buildings will be done by November of this year.
