Public hearing set for Kingdom Hall

Posted

The project known as Kingdom Hall received a negative declaration and was set for a public hearing on June 15 at the town hall at 7 p.m. following approval by the Town of Newburgh Planning Board at their regular meeting on Thursday, May 18.

The proposed project, located at 33 Little Britain Road and represented by the firm Greenman-Pedersen, Inc., seeks the construction of a new single story 4,992 square foot Kingdom Hall facility with a single access drive. The meeting hall would be adjacent to the currently existing hall along Little Britain Road.

According to comments prepared by MHE Engineering, a Stormwater Facilities Maintenance Agreement will be required to be executed and filed with the town and the status of the Highway Superintendent’s review of the access drive should be addressed with the application.
