You portray faithful Catholics (and others) as ignorant and hate-filled Neanderthals because unchanging Catholic doctrine regards same-gender unions as gravely sinful. Catholics hold that God (not man) is the author of marriage. Our divine Lord himself raised this indissoluble bond of one man and one woman to the august level of a sacrament.

Apparently, your editorial holds that such a benighted view has no place in the public forum. In your view, Catholics must settle for second class citizenship or worse – none at all. Perhaps you should examine your own conscience, since your intolerant, woke-mindset is really the essence of prejudice and discrimination.
